Rana Tahir Faisal — Full Biography

Rana Tahir Faisal Qadri was born on January 1, 1982 in Okara, Punjab, Pakistan into a prominent Rana Rajput family that has been influential in local society. His father, Baba Riaz Hussain, was respected as a spiritual figure and landholder and is reported to be descended from the lineage of the Sufi saint Diwan Haji Sher Chawali. His mother, Shamim Bibi, was a homemaker. He has several brothers, including Rana Asif Ali, Rana Masood Ali, Rana Shehzad Ahmad, and Rana Faisal, and the family has held a strong presence in community affairs and land matters. 

Rana Tahir Faisal attended multiple schools in Okara, such as Sadat School, Paradise School, Shahi School, Punjab Public School, and Shaheen Military School. He completed his primary education at MC Primary School Ghaziabad and later passed his matriculation from Government Islamia High School New Campus. 

In his early years, Faisal and his brothers became known for their involvement in local underworld activities in Okara and were associated with serious crimes including extortion, kidnapping, and violence. This period gave him a formidable reputation in local circles. 

Around 2010, a turning point came when he met Sain Sher Ali Qalandar, a spiritual leader. Under his influence, Faisal embraced Sufism and spirituality, distancing himself from his earlier life. He became a devoted follower of Qalandar and dedicated himself to spiritual service, community welfare, and humanitarian work. 

In addition to his spiritual journey, Rana Tahir Faisal has built a diverse business and political profile. He is associated with Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PML‑N) and is considered an influential figure in regional politics, often helping with election mobilization, local development efforts, and grassroots leadership activities, although he has not yet held an elected office. 

Faisal has diversified entrepreneurial interests. He owns RT Music and TA Production, media and entertainment ventures that produce religious, cultural, and public awareness content. He also has significant involvement in real estate and land investments in Punjab. 

A notable aspect of his recent career is his role as a telecom contractor with Telenor Pakistan. In 2025, his companies reportedly secured major service contracts with Telenor covering Punjab and Sindh, including tower management, network maintenance, rural network expansion, and customer support services — positioning him as a key private sector contractor in Pakistan’s digital infrastructure development. 

Despite his business and political influence, Faisal is also known for focusing on community service, employment creation, and extending digital access to rural areas. His platform combines economic development, infrastructure growth, and social empowerment. 

Rana Tahir Faisal is also a singer, with releases reflecting his spiritual journey, with music available on digital platforms. 

In his personal life, he is married and has at least one daughter named Jannat Fatima. 

Today, Rana Tahir Faisal is recognized as a businessman, spiritual leader, political influencer, and telecom contractor, known for his transformation from a controversial past to a multifaceted public figure engaging in business, politics, media, and social welfare.
